Two other types of sites that Google absolutely loves are Article Sites and Press Release Sites.  Ezinearticles.com and Isnare.com are two of my favorite article submission sites.  For Press Releases, just search for "free press releases" on google.  There are dozens of sites.  Google loves them all!
